Army Support Activity encourages higher learning through Education Fair

The Army Support Activity on Soto Cano Air Base showcases it's support and appreciation for higher learning and professional by providing military members an opportunity to achieve their educational goals.

The Education Center hosted an informative Education Fair from Nov. 4-6.

During the fair, college representatives from DoD approved institutions, were available to provide various information on continuing education.

Some of the information the representatives provided to the members of Joint Task Force-Bravo were degree plans for new students, degree completion avenues for those with some college experience, as well a variety of learning options.  Along with online learning, some colleges are even offering classroom instruction here at Soto Cano AB.

The Education Center is committed to improving the readiness of all members stationed on Soto Cano AB, by helping individuals plan for and achieve a higher level of education.

To help members reach their educational goals, the education center also offers a full range of services to support both personal and professional development.  Their services include distance learning, counseling, education financial programs, testing, language proficiency, and by providing members with access to computer lab facilities.

For those looking to decrease the language barrier while stationed in Honduras the Education Center also offers virtual study, as well as a beginner's Spanish course which allows personnel to fully immerse themselves into the Honduran culture.
