Celebrating Women's Equality Day

By Staff Sgt. Shelby Pruitt-Johnson Joint Task Force-Bravo Public Affairs

Today on Women's Equality Day, Soto Cano Air Base celebrates the achievements of women assigned to the Honduran Air Force, Joint Task Force-Bravo, Army Support Activity and the High School Internship Program.

Hundreds of women contribute to the mission every day — from pilots, nurses, secretaries, interns, military police personnel and aircraft maintainers.

U.S. Southern Command continuously recognizes the meaningful contributions of women in the defense security sectors around the world through its Women, Peace and Security Program.
