2/8/2012 - LA PAZ, Honduras – More than 20 Airmen, Soldiers and a Marine from Joint Task Force-Bravo, Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras, excavate a hole to lay foundation for a home with Habitat for Humanity Honduras here Feb. 4. Servicemembers assist habitat volunteers with digging, picking and shoveling dirt for first-time homeowner, Wendy Zajoerre. Building a home through the organization will save Zajoerre the equivalent of $10,000. Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry founded in 1976. Three years later, the nonprofit opened its doors in Latin America. In Honduras, the organization has improved housing conditions for 11,500 families. (U.S. Air Force photo/Lt. Col. Lloyd Malone)
