Excess Property Programs
The property that Joint Task Force Bravo replaces is in various condition and it is easier to replace than to repair. Organizations receive the property as-is at the moment of receipt, property includes: office furniture, computers, beds, meals, etc.
We accept requests via fax at 011-504-234-4634 Ext. 4692. Civil Military Operations is responsible for coordinating and submitting passes to enter the base. This procedure begins two weeks in advance.
Denton Program
This program gives an opportunity to US citizens and organizations to use space-available on military flights to transport humanitarian relief, such as clothes, meals, medical teams, agriculture teams and vehicles to countries in need. The program is administered by USAID, U.S. Department of State, and the U.S. Department of Defense.
To fill out a request, go to http://dentonfunded.ohasis.org. Organizations in the United States must establish contact with the Honduran non-profit organization.
The organizations/individuals in the United States initiate the process by completing the form at the Web site listed above. Also, applicants must have a Honduran tax exemption certificate.
The receiving Honduran organizations are responsible for coordinating with the Civil Military Operations office for transportation of donated materials off the base.
