Bajo Yuna - Representatives from Dominican Republic governmental and non-governmental agencies, alongside partner-nation military representatives, watch simulated water rescues take place in a river near Bajo Yuna, Dominican Republic May 9, 2019 as part of Fuerzas Humanitarias Humanitarias 2019. FA-HUM 19 is a U.S. Army South-sponsored foreign humanitarian assistance and disaster relief exercise designed to build U.S. partner nation’s capacity for civil and military response to major disasters. More than 100 national experts from over 13 Latin American countries will operate jointly throughout FA-HUM 19 simulations and training events from May 6 - 17, 2019 in the Dominican Republic.
