Base Aérea Soto Cano, Honduras - El Coronel del Ejército de los EE.UU. Kevin Russel, egresado de la Universidad Hampton, Ingeniero de Combate y Oficial de Fuerzas Especiales, asumió el mando de la Fuerza de Tarea Conjunta-Bravo durante una ceremonia de traspaso en la Base Aérea Soto Cano, el día 17 de julio del 2018. La ceremonia fue presidida por el Almirante de la Fuerza Naval de los EE.UU. Kurt W. Tidd, comandante del Comando Sur de los EE.UU., quien a su vez fue acompañado por oficiales de la Fuerzas Armadas de Honduras y la Consejera Política de la Embajada de los EE.UU. Elizabeth Bailey, quienes presenciaron el traspaso de los colores de guardia del Cnel. Keith McKinley al Cnel. Russel.
