A medic from the 1-228th Aviation Battalion holds on to a rescue mannequin as they are being hoisted into a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter over Lake Yojoa, Honduras, Dec. 18, 2014. The 1-228th AVN BN spent the afternoon practicing overwater hoist training. The overwater hoist training was held to ensure members of Joint Task Force-Bravo are planning and preparing for crisis and contingency response as part of U.S. Southern Command’s mission. Contingency planning prepares the command for various scenarios that pose the greatest probability of challenging our regional partners or threatening our national interests.
