El Elemento Médico de FTC-Bravo facilita el Curso PEDS a pediatras hondureños
El Elemento Médico de la Fuerza de Tarea Conjunta-Bravo fue el anfitrión del curso de Pediatría en Desastres (PEDS) que preparó y entrenó a pediatras hondureños en los cuidados médicos en casos de desastre y socorro, impartido por la Academia Americana de Pediatras (AAP). Los temas del curso incluían el planteamiento y prioridades para los escenarios de desastre, tratamiento pediátrico para el trauma, exposición a tóxicos, y procedimientos para el orden y control de incidentes. Pediatras de toda Honduras viajaron hasta la Base Aérea Soto Cano para asistir al curso que tuvo lugar del 7 al 9 de agosto de 2014.
