ILOPANGO, El Salvador - A boy carries a case of water that was unloaded off a UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter, assigned to Joint Task Force-Bravo, Nov. 17 near El Sauce, El Salvador. A Civil Affairs team from Special Operations Command South, based out of Homestead, Florida, provided vital aid to the small village of El Sauce by dropping off more than 5,000 total pounds of food and water Nov. 17 and 18. The area was so badly damaged by the floods that villagers had to hand-carry the 5,000 pounds of food almost a quarter of a mile back to the village (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Chad Thompson).
